Principal Consultant

Charles Kellett (B Bus, Cert REM, AAPI)

Charles Kellett is a Director and Principal Consultant of Acumen Corporate Property (formerly Charles Kellett Property Consulting) which has been in operation since 2008.  Prior to that, Corporate Real Estate (CRE) services were successfully provided by Charles as the founding director of Property Resources Consulting for a period of 12 years (1993 to 2005).  The business was successfully sold, and Charles moved into senior investment management roles in the Australian Real Estate Investment Trust (A-REIT) and Property Development sectors working for Hawaiian and Becton Investment Management before returning to the CRE advisory space in 2008.

Charles is Business Degree qualified in Property Valuation and Land Economy, is an Associate member of the Australian Property Institute (since 1989) and has a distinguished career in property that spans over 25 years, the bulk of which  have been devoted to providing independent CRE consulting solutions.

His sole intention has been to provide high level, project focused property advice to a select range of clients.  He is well placed to provide expertise in the areas of tenant representation, development and financial feasibility analysis, due diligence, transaction management, property asset and project management and strategic urban & commercial property development advice.

Charles brings his broad sphere corporate real estate experience from across multiple sectors to organisations, where his knowledge and advice ensures that client outcomes remain the key focus.

Principal Consultant

Mario Macri (B Comm)

Mario Macri is a Principal Consultant of Acumen Corporate Property with over 25 years’ experience successfully providing Corporate Real Estate services to private and public sector clients. Mario holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and comes from Commercial Banking background with Westpac as a Property Risk Analyst. 

After working in the Banking Industry for a decade Mario moved into the Corporate Real Estate advisory sector where he soon established himself as one of the industry’s most talented Tenant Advocates with a particular emphasis on large, complex “Design and Construct” Office leasing pre-commitment projects. 

He cites his areas of expertise as complex financial modelling and analysis, transaction management and negotiation, commercial leasing process and execution, construction management and project delivery.

Mario has completed consultant assignments that have consistently seen him successfully transact substantial outcomes and savings, across Australia, for his clients as well as ensuring project delivery, end to end, on some Australia’s largest commercial office leasing pre-commitments.

He is well known throughout the commercial property industry for achieving significant savings and outcomes on behalf of tenant clients.
